Milestones: Sippy Cup, Walking, and Words

Ali has reached some huge milestones recently.

Milestone #1:
She finally decided to drink from a sippy cup for both her water and milk.
And best of all...
She can hold them on her own,
Unless she is being lazy.

You can see in this next picture a little bit, but she has 4 teeth coming in!
She only has 4 now, so she is doubling the amount of teeth she has!

We have been letting her choose if she would like to have milk or water.

And this is the result of that...

Adam is telling her which one to drink, but do not let that fool you. This kid does what she wants when she wants to do it. She is very independent.

We have been giving her a variety of foods from her usual diet since she is doing well with whole milk.

One of which.... Cookies.
And like any other infant, toddler, child, adult, grandma, or grandpa she likes them.

Also has had more lately because we have been making more since we got this:

Crazy About Cookies: 300 Scrumptious Recipes for Every Occasion & Craving

They have very yummy cookie recipes.

Milestone #2:
Ali is walking.

Milestone #3:

She said Night, Night two nights in a row!
The only other words she says are dada and mama.
She really only says mama when she's whining.

Went went to the doctor, like usual, and she is 30 inches long and weighs 21 lbs. 5 oz.

We have also graduated to Hair Salon 201.

She is learning to be patient while we put bows in her hair.

She always makes us laugh.
One day she decided to lay on the floor...
just because.
She likes to lay on our bed too.
