Bowling and Burgers

For Valentine's we went
Bowling.

Granted it was on Thursday
and not
on Valentine's Day,
but it's all the same...
right?

Well, the bowling alley here
has a small grill,
which normally in most
bowling allies...
it's not amazing.

However,
This one had one special burger the
chef makes from scratch.
(or at least he said he did).
12 different chiles,
ground up,
with homemade pickle slices,
and pepper.

The result:
The Pepper Burger.

It was
AMAZING!

To give credit where it is due...
it was my idea.

As for the total on the points
from 3 games:

To give credit where it is due...
I won.

It's a Boy!

An ultrasound was done
Friday,

and it's a BOY!

He was laying down on the placenta,
head on it's side and arm along the placenta.
Like a body pillow for him.

He did not feel like moving at all
during the ultrasound.
Sound asleep.

We are so excited for this 3rd baby of ours.

Jake Haircut

Jake finally got a haircut.

Here he is with his long curly-curly hair.

He did really good for his first time.

The final hair-do...

The next day he sported his new hair cut at church,
and
he found a new way to worship at church...

The kids continue to grow
at a rapid pace,

and

they always bring smiles
to our growing family.

March of Dimes - 5th year

Every year we share this story
for a number of reasons
which we will share later.

Ali was born

October 27th, 2010...

She was born
11 weeks premature.

She weighed 2 lbs 6 oz.

The hospital was not able to confirm
what caused her premature birth.
They suspected a possible infection

She started off with help breathing for 24 hours
and then was quickly able to take her own breaths
She then used a nasal cannula
to get increased oxygen.

She was tiny and fragile.
We went to see her every day
for the next 2 months while
she was in the NICU.

Jodi holding Ali's hand one of the many times visiting her.

This was a hard time for us
and a time for prayer.

Looking at these pictures
bring back difficult memories and feelings;
however, it reminds us of the
humility,
faith,
and trust in God
that helped us through the time.

Since Ali's birth
we have honored Ali's fight to survive
through the March of Dimes.

We walk for her
and
we walk for the future children yet to be born.

Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick.

We ask
families,
individuals,
caring parents,
hopeful parents,
and others
to donate at least $1.00
in honor of Ali.

To date, we have raise
$2,004.00

 Our March of Dimes Page

The March of Dimes
helps moms have full-term pregnancies
and research the problems that threaten the health of babies
like in Ali's case,
prematurity.

Our 5th anniversary of
raising money...
we will be doing a 5k.

The Insane Inflatable 5k
in Lubbock, TX.

Our goal is to raise
$500

If that goal is met
Adam will wear a captain american shirt

with...
matching tutu for the race.

ALSO,

This year we will be giving out a prize
as a thank you to the many
that donate to our team each year.

For every $1.00
we will put in 1 entry for a

FREE photo session -

for family, couple, senior pictures, or individual
by Adam Westenhofer.
Enhanced/Edited photos on CD to make prints to your desire.
**Must be in Clovis, NM and surrounding area to be eligible for this.**
Only participants in this area will be entered to win.
