5k & Pumpkins

October 19th we ran the 10th Annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run 5k.

It was in memory of my sister-in-law, Tanya Westenhofer.

Us after the race with Allan and Suzanne (the best running partners)

It was packed this year.
They had the women and men run together
instead of separate as they have done in the past.

6,500 participants.
The run this year has raised $262,000.

The 4 of us ran together and finished in 37 minutes.

After our morning 5k we went and picked up Ali and Jake...

and off to the Pumpkin Patch, Tate Farms.

Quick photo shoot of Allan and Suzanne.
Great Pics.

Silly Pics...

We waited for our hay ride to the pumpkin patch.

Got a cute family photo too
(without Jake looking because he is interested in something else).

Allan...
waiting for the hay ride...
or thinking about something very seriously.

We got to the pumpkin patch and began our search.

At last, we found just the right one.

Ali was also sweet...
and gave Daddy a kiss.

And, of course, there was fun at their house.

Uncle Allan built a fort in the room where Ali was sleeping.
